Mattie Beall Holloway

Mattie Beall Holloway was born on March 27, 1945, to the late Coy Holloway of Durham, NC, and the late Jamie B Holloway of New Haven, CT. Mattie first served faithfully at Now Faith and Trust Ministries and was ordained under her son Apostle Raymond Holloway. She was also a faithful member of St Stephen’s Pentecostal church. Mattie was employed with the New Haven Board of Education as the Head Kitchen Manager. Mattie Beall Holloway was truly blessed. She was born in Durham, NC on March 27, 1945, and departed this life on April 3, 2023. she was predeceased by her parents, Coy and Jamie Holloway, and beloved sister Barbara Holloway, and brothers Junis Holloway, Wade Holloway, and George Holloway, two sons Earl Beall and Stephen Terry Price, and her great grandson Maurice Hill. She leaves to cherish her memory sons Raymond Holloway (Sherri), and Jamel Beall, and daughters, Darcel Graham (Kevin), Ramona Price, and Rashella Beall.

Mattie leaves to cherish 30 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Mattie’s presence on Earth will be missed by many. To know her is to truly love her.

A celebration of Mattie’s life will be held on Saturday April 15, 2023 at 9am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden. Viewing in Colonial from 8-9am. Interment to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
