Megara Fay Cave

Mrs. Megara Fay Cave 63 Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Born on March 23, 1961 to the late Mr. James & Brenda Branham. Departed this life and transitioned into eternity on Friday May 31, 2024 surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Megara affectionately known as “Fay” was the 1st siblings. She was educated in the New Haven Public School system. Fay graduated from James Hill house High School in 1981. She was a life long member at Varrick Memorial A.M.E her family Church and Thomas Chapel Church. In 1989 She met the love of her life Michael Cave. They were married in 1995 and from this union they had two daughters. She worked for various companies throughout the city of New Haven for many years.

She leaves to cherish her found memories children: Ebony Branham, Michelle (Charles Chaz Neal) and Chelsea Cave (Zaro Williams). One sister Ms. Ronette Branham, one sister not by blood but by Love Ms. Tina Downing, four brothers Todd Branham, Juan Branham (Maxine Branham) James Branham-Nigretti and Maurice Morgan. One granddaughter and six grandsons. Two God daughters Catherine Gran Downing and Nicky Tillery and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased in death by her husband Michael Cave, Parents James and Brenda Branham Grandparents, Bessie (Nannie) Hill-Ruben, Willie (Mims) B. Spann, aunts Martha Hill and uncle Paul Hill, Cheryll Scott, Leslie Spann, Melanie Spann, and a special cousin George Branham.

Viewing hours are Friday June 14, 2024 at The New Trinity Temple Church Of God In Christ 285 Dixwell Ave. New Haven, CT. 06511 10am-11am Viewing and Funeral Service is at 11am.
