Muriel E. Holland

Muriel E. Holland, age 93, of Hamden, passed away on April 20, 2024, at YNHH (Saint Raphael Campus). She was born in Yonkers, New York on March 9, 1931 to the late Grant and Mary (Branch) Moore Jr. She is survived by one brother Michael (Vernell) Moore of Hamden, one sister-in-law Agnes Moore of Hamden, 2 nieces Paulette Moore, Tonya Moore, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by one brother Grant Moore III., her aunt and uncle Harold and Olivia Moshier. She was an Elementary School Teacher, Grades 1-6 in Yonkers, New York for over 30 years. Muriel was beloved by everyone she was in contacted with.

A Celebration of Murial’s life will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 12pm at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden. Viewing in Colonial from 11am-12pm. Burial will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. The family would like to thank The Sister Louise Anthony Surgical Floor 2, in YNNH Saint Raphael Campus, for there loving and care of Muriel.
