Natalie J. Smith-Crockett, 62 of West Haven, CT, passed away on May 13, 2025. Natalie was born on July 3, 1962 to Geraldine Silva and Dock Smith, Jr. in Derby, CT.

Natalie graduated from Ansonia High School in 1980. Natalie was a retired School-to-Career Teacher in the Connecticut Technical and Career System. Natalie earned her Bachelors of Arts from Albertus Magnus College and Masters of Arts Degrees from the University of New Haven.

Natalie is survived by her loving Husband: Graylin Crockett, Mother: Geraldine Silva, Father: Dock Smith, Jr. (Marjorie), Mother-in-law: Eula Mae McKoy, Brother: Jeffrey Smith (Veridiana), Brothers-in Law: Melvin Crockett, Judge Crockett, and Jason Crockett (Radeta), Sisters-in-law: Barbara Crockett-Mabry, Chiffon Young (John), Sharon Crockett, and Niece: Tatiana Smith, Stepdaughters: Lana Corvill and Shena M. Crockett-Fife, and Stepson: Jordan G. Crockett, Grandchildren: Jordan, Jayden, Liam, Max, Jaxon, and Cece. And a host of additional relatives and loved ones.

Natalie was predeceased by her brother, Samuel Smith, Sr. (February 4, 2024); Nephew: Samuel Smith, Jr. (December 16, 2022), and Father-in-law: Judge Crockett.

Natalie’s Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 885 Wintergreen Avenue, Hamden, CT. Viewing hours: 10:30am-11:00am; Funeral services will be at 11:00am.
