Na’Tosha Tyese Gaines, 44 was called home by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ Saturday October 17th 2020. She was born at Yale New Haven hospital. To Arnold Payne and Cheryle Gaines Tyson (Roy Tyson). Tosha worked as a C.N.A for many years. To cherish her memory are three amazing children. Darius (Keemie) Gaines, (Mia Smokes-Boyd) of West Haven, CT Jasmine (Jazz) Bookert (Jahlil Hough) and Jasper Bookert Jr. Of New Haven, CT. One Godchild Rha’mya Anderson of new haven Seven loving Grandchildren, Kamiye, CaSee, My ‘Asia, Shaquann Jr, Kayori, Kamoni and Demi. She leaves to cherish her memories thirteen siblings. Donald, Nakia, of New Haven James Gaines, of Meriden. CT. Marcus Tyson, of Middletown CT. Darrell Suggs, of Waterbury CT. Arnold Payne Jr, Raquell Payne, of Andrews, SC. Latavia Brito, Shaqwaveia Payne, Ayshia Payne, Anastasia Brown, Aniesha Brown, Tykon Allen, Tekenya Allen, all of New Haven CT. Tosha predeceased by her Grandparents, Sarah & Willie Payne, Essie Rodriquez Bligen & Clayton Gaines and her brother Quinnell T Payne. She also leaves her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, most of all my friends.

A Celebration of Na’Tosha’s life will be held on Friday October 30, 2020 in Trinity Temple Church 285 Dixwell Avenue New Haven CT at 11am. Viewing in Church from from 9-11am. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed Colonialfunerals.com.
