Olivia Chapman-Sims

Olivia Chapman-Sims, age 87, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on April 12, 2021 at YNHH (St. Raphael Campus). She was born on August 24, 1933 in Westminster, SC., the daughter of the late Marion and Lula (Walker) Sims. The beloved wife of the late Roy Chapman. Loving mother of 7 children, Carol (Ron) Colwell, Patrice Watson, Lawrence Chapman, Barbara Chapman, Gail (Jeff Davis) Chapman, Denise Chapman, and Eric (Tonya) Chapman. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 9 sisters and 2 brothers.

A Celebration of Olivia’s life will be held on Monday April 26, 2021 at Pitts Chapel Church, 64 Brewster St., New Haven at 11am. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Interment to follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
