Pastor Alice L. Smith

Pastor Alice L. Smith, age 70, of Wallingford and formerly of New Haven, on November 19, 2023, peacefully gained her wings with the Lord in the beautiful gates of Heaven.  She was born on January 15, 1953 in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late Roy Carr Sr. and the late Gladys Barringer. Pastor Smith leaves to cherish her memories, sons; Johnnie K. Golett, Marcus (Janese) T. Golett Sr., Ezra (Sheri) C. Golett, Joshua I. Golett and is predeceased by her baby boy, Immanuel L. Golett.  Daughters; LaRonda E. Barringer, Tamyra L. Golett, Chemeka P. Golett, and Johniece E. Golett.  Also survived by sister; Beverly Wilson, 26 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of other family & close friends. Besides her  predeceased parents, Pastor Smith is also predeceased by two brothers; Roy & Melvin Carr.

A Celebration of Pastor Smith’s life will be held at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard Street, New Haven, on Friday, December 8 ^th , 2023 (viewing from 9:00am-11:00am, Service starts at 11:00am).  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery of New Haven.
