Mrs. Patricia A. Robinson, known by her siblings as Honey, and the former wife of the late Odell Robinson, departed this life on August 16, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born on October 18, 1936 in Danbury, CT to the late Paul and Pauline (nee Kearney) Tallman. She graduated from Danbury High School and attended Henry Abbott Tech earning her CNA. She was later educated at St. Vincent’s Hospital for Nursing in Bridgeport, CT.
Patricia loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family. She was a woman who demonstrated love, compassion, and generosity to all. Her church home was Unity Temple Church, where her pastor is the Rev. David J. Byars, Senior Pastor. Patricia was one of God’s faithful prayer warriors. She served on many church committees and wore many hats. She was a faithful Sunday School Teacher, the Vice President of the Pastor’s Aid Committee, Church Historian, and an integral Missionary and Mother Board member.
Patricia was formerly employed at New Departure, in Bristol, CT, as well as Cliff House Nursing Home and Abbott Terrace Health Center, both in Waterbury.
Patricia’s great passion in life was to care for her family and other families in her community, especially those where she previously resided such as Elizabeth Street and Springbrook.
Patricia is survived by her children, Brian K. Robinson of Mechanic Falls, ME; Susan E. Morrison (Tony); Michael O. Robinson (Mary); and Christopher M.L. Robinson, all of Waterbury, CT; her grandchildren Alannah Robinson, Tiffany Danforth, Amando Delgado, Able Delgado, Samantha Delgado, Brittany Endes, all of Maine; Brian Robinson, Jr. of Florida; Amanda Robinson, Jerome Robinson (Rocky); Shakina M. Bowen (Derek); Christopher Robinson, Jr., Bianca Robinson, Brianna Robinson, Brittany Robinson; and Tony Morrison, Jr., all of Waterbury. She is also survived by her siblings Parker Tallman of Danbury and Khadija [Penny Lou] Tallman Alzawahreh of North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Steven Robinson and Tanya Cahill. Patricia was also predeceased by her parents, and her siblings Pauline, Phoebe, Paul II, Phillip, Perry, Phyllis, Patrick, Peter, Priscilla, Preston, Portia, and Prentiss.
Homegoing Service will be held as follows at Long Hill Bible Church, 131 Garden Circle, Waterbury, CT 06704 at 11am on Thursday August 24, 2023. Visitation will be held from 10-11am.Rev.
