Pedro Antonio Borrero Jr. was born October 24 1984, in New Haven Connecticut, to father Pedro Borrero Sr. (Betty); and late mother Kimberly Jones. He was the second oldest of five children. On Sunday, August 25, 2024, Pedro took the hand of God as he led him to “walk in the sunshine.”
Upon completing grade school, he received his GED. Pedro also worked at Town Fair Tire as a Tire Technician. As well as various others restaurants were he loved to cook.
Pedro was a great Father to his young children who he loved and talked about all of the time. He was a great brother and uncle to all his nieces and nephews all the kids loved Uncle as they called him. Pedro loved his family unconditionally. He enjoyed his life to how he saw fit. He would smile and laugh constantly, that eventually rubbed off on everyone he encountered. Pedro would joke with you even after just meeting you. He was the happiest when spending time with his kids and family making everlasting memories. His Love for rap Music was broad. His laughter, strength, courage and tenacity were something to be admired. He has greatly impacted our lives in ways that will never be forgotten. We all love him for that and he will be truly missed.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving sons Pedro Borrero Jr., Payge Borrero of New Haven, CT, and unborn daughter Payani Borrero. Three sisters Seanita Jones, Shardae Borrero, Jasmine Jones; One brother Joshua Borrero all of New Haven, CT. Grandfather Pedro Borrero of Puerto Rico; Aunts, Denise Sutton of New Haven, CT; Helen Borrero of Florida; Uncles, Alex Borrero of East Haven, CT., Eddie Jones Jr., of Nashville, TN. A host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly; Christian Borrero, Ryan Jones Janiya Jones, Kiarra Jones, Narrell Kelly, Deyannah Greene, Julianna Borrero, Christiana “Muda” Borrero, Destiny Agnew, Kimberly Kelly, Bella Marie Borrero, Korrie Nichols, Cali Rose Borrero, (God Son) Prince Javier Antonio Nichols, Joshua Borrero jr., Julian Borrero, Chalice Borrero and Hansen Borrero, and one great nephew Chinx Jones. Special cousins Jordan and Karson Sutton. He also leaves behind a host of Aunts Uncles and Cousins and friends who affectionately called him Dro. Carrying his legacy, also leaving behind the mother of his sons Cahsidah Buckins and mother to his unborn Daughter T’wana Williams.
Pedro was predeceased by his Mother, Kimberly Jones; Maternal Grandmother, Delores Sutton; Paternal Grandmother, Carmen Gonzalez; Maternal Grandfather Eddie Jones; Uncle, Robert Sutton; and favorite cousin, Shakara King.
A Celebration of Pedro’s Life will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut. Viewing in Colonial from 10:00am-11:00am with a 11:00am service. Burial will follow at Hamden Plains Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
