Petra Gonzalez

Petra Gonzalez, 83, of Waterbury passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021.  She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on July 31, 1937 to Francis Rodriguez and Sixta Flores. She was the loving wife of the late Luis Acosta Gonzalez. Petra volunteered at the Murial Moore Child Development Center on 444 North Main St. in Waterbury, where she was a foster grandmother.  Petra is survived by her children Efrain Gonzalez, Carmen Rodriguez, Miriam Huertas and husband Hilario, Idalia Gonzalez, Alberto Gonzalez, and Madeline Quiñonez; as well as several grandchildren.

Viewing at Colonial at 10-11:30am, 11:30 service. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers make donations directly to Colonial Funerals.
