Phyllis (Babe) Ann Morgan, born October 22, 1943, in Cooleemee, NG, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love. She was tne chensed daughter of the late Charles and Louise Tenor.
Known for her vibrant spirit, Phyllis was a true spitfire who loved her family beyond words. She had a passion for dancing and always made sure she looked sharp, proudly wearing rings on every finger. Her lively presence lit up any room, and she was a beloved member of her church community, serving on the usher board with grace. Phyllis had a unique ability to dance down the aisles, ensuring everyone around her was having a great time.
Phyllis leaves behind her devoted husband, Elmore Morgan, and her beloved sons, Anthony Morgan and Phillip (Scotty) Morgan. She was predeceased by her daughter, Dawn Morgan. Phyllis adored her grandchildren, her granddaughter Sienna Morgan, and her grandson’s Anthony D. Morgan, D’Ante Morgan, Scott D. Morgan, and Julian Morgan, along with five great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
Her legacy or love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever be remembered. Phyllis Morgan will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be held on Thursday November 7, 2024 at 11am at Christ CME Church, Waterbury. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Burial to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery.
