Portia A. Turner

Portia Abeana Turner, age 49, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 20, 1970 in Accura, Ghana, daughter of Rose Owusua and the late Samuel Agyapony. She was the beloved wife of Anthony Turner Sr, of Hamden, and loving mother, sister and friends to many. She was a resident of Hamden until her untimely demise after a lengthy battle with Breast cancer and tragic motor vehicle accident. She will be missed by all she encountered.

A celebration of Portia’s life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Colonial 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Visitation will be from 10-11am. Immediately following will be the home going services, followed by Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519.
