Queen Elizabeth Epps

Queen Elizabeth Epps, age 75 of New Haven, CT entered into eternal rest on Thursday August 6th 2026 at Yale New Haven hospital surrounded by her loving family. Queen was born on June 15th, 1951 in Kings-tree South Carolina to the late Melvin and Eliza Epps. She leaves to cherish her memory Her devoted son and daughter in law Terrell & Jamila Epps, Grandchildren Kayla Epps and Logan Epps, 9 siblings Alexander Epps, Melvin Epps Jr (Joye), Cleberta McFadden, Eliza Durant, Cathy Epps Samuels (Joseph), Jessalene Sullivan (Luther), Rebecca Epps, Kayren Fairman (Gary), Patsy Epps Taitt (Roy). Queen was predeceased by parents Melvin and Eliza Epps and Brothers Marvin and Bernie Epps. 

A celebration of Queen's life will be held on Thursday, August 13th at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue Hamden, CT. Viewing will take place from 10-11 with a service to follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com.
