Rainford Augustus Pinnock was born on June 9 th , 1946 to Samuel and Francella Pinnock in St. Catherine, Jamaica. He was the youngest of four children. Rainford moved to the United States in January 1969, where during that time, he made many accomplishments. He graduated from Eli Whitney Technical High School and later went on to become trained as a Cobbler (Shoemaker) in the Bahamas and later obtaining a certification as a Machine Operator. Before his passing, Rainford worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Yale New Haven Hospital for 45 years before retiring.
Rainford is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel (Francella) Pinnock, brother, Federick Roy, and sister, Cyrline (Pinnock) Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one sister, Albertha “Reema” Pinnock; three children, Karl Pinnock and Jennell Pinnock of New Haven, Connecticut, and Patricia Pinnock-Abney of Augusta, Georgia; nine grandchildren, Leonardo Myers Jr., Sulzyche Pinnock, La’Vyreous Rich of Augusta, Georgia, Kristen Pinnock, Kaleen Uthmaan Jr., Jenasia Schuler, David Holland, Jayelana Holland, Zendaya Holland of New Haven Connecticut; four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, special friend, Bernice Pinnock-Cotton, family and friends.
