The gates of heaven opened up where she entered into eternal rest on November 24, 2021 at 11:30pm. She was born on September 26,1935 in Comerio P.R. Daughter of predeceased father Juan Huertas and mother Juanita Rivera. Predeceased by sisters Maria Ortiz , Juana Huertas, Eduarda Huertas
and brothers Carmelo Huertas , Pedro Huertas. Survived by Mariano Miranda, her granddaughter Crystal Ortiz and loving family.
Monin had a big heart and always thought about everyone’s feelings before her’s. She was a happy, and caring person. She was always helping people in need. Her dogs and birds were her joy and loved them so much. Gardening was her favorite thing to do with Mariano Miranda all year round. The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver Carolina. Monin was a beautiful person who will be truly be missed and never forgotten.
A wake will be held on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden from 5-8pm. A Celebration of Ramona’s life will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Colonial Funerals, at 11am. Viewing from 10-11am. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
