Randy Banks Sr.

Randy was born February 27, 1967 in Elizabeth City, NC the son of the late Martha E (Banks) Barksdale and the stepson of Roger C Barksdale. At the tender age of 1 years old, his family relocated to Waterbury, CT. He attended the Waterbury School System. And he worked for Salsco for 18 years.

Besides his loving fiancé Tanya(Tammy) of 36 years, he leaves to cherish his memories Tremaine Bolton, Randy Jr and Tiarra Banks of Waterbury. Three grandchildren Jeremiah Pittman, Adonis Newel and Jayda Bolton all of Waterbury. He leaves his siblings, three sisters, Nina(Herb) Williams of Hampton VA, Kimberly Banks of Waterbury CT and Regina(Bruce) Ray of North Dakota. Three brothers, Roger(Michelle) Gray of Beaufort SC, Anthony Banks of Lawrenceville GA and  Michael Banks of Waterbury CT. One great aunt, Martha Ellen Butts of Elizabeth City NC, one aunt Yvonne Jackson of Waterbury CT and one uncle Clarence(Barbara) Banks of Waterbury CT. He was predeceased by one brother Dorlen A Banks Sr.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Saturday April 23, 2022 at 10am at Zion Baptist Church. Viewing in Church from   9-10am. Interment to follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. Condolencesmay be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
