In Loving Memory of Reginald Lawrence Adams Jr.
Reginald Lawrence Adams Jr. departed this life on April 12, 2026, at Yale Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. He was born on April 15, 1951, to Reginald L. Adams Sr. and Frances Adams.
During his early adulthood, after graduating from high school, Reginald moved to Brooklyn, New York. He later relocated to New Haven, Connecticut for a short period before settling in Orlando, Florida, where he resided for over 25 years.
Reginald dedicated more than 30 years of service as a supervisor in environmental services within the healthcare industry. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his profession.
He will be remembered for his love of cooking, laughter, and his early morning phone calls to family members. Reginald enjoyed waking up at the crack of dawn to check in with loved ones and had a deep appreciation for oldies music.
He is survived by his children: Christina Adams, Frances Adams, Debra (Curtis) Taylor, Olivia Adams, and Brian Adams; his brother Algernon (Bertha) Adams; his sister Oneita Cutts. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a circle of friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Frances Adams; his brothers Vaughn Adams, Charles Adams, and Raedell Adams; and his sister Pamela Adams.
A celebration of Reginald’s life will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 9:00am at Holy Ghost Deliverance Church #2 in New Haven, Connecticut. Viewing will be held from 8:00am to 9:00am prior to the service. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, CT. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
