Roberto Roman

Roberto Roman, 71 of Waterbury passed away on March 16, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Robert was born on September 13th, 1948 in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, son of the late Julio Roman and Antonia (Gonzales) Roman. Robert enjoyed driving and traveling to visit family, especially his mother in Massachusetts. He will always be remembered for his good sense of humor and jokes that made everyone cheerful. Robert was proud of his domino championship in waterbury. He was always active with the catholic church stemming from Saint Cecilia to Sacred Heart in Waterbury CT. Robert was active with the catholic community in the restoration and clean up of Holy Land USA. He enjoyed walks to the lake and many trails, as well as fishing.  Robert loved to listen to his records and cassettes. Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years; Isabel (Ramos) Roman; Daughters Samantha Satterfield and Alexandra Satterfield; Grandson Herbert Satterfield Brother Daniel Roman; Sisters Elsa Roman, Brunilda Shiffler and Mirta Roman; many Nieces and Nephews; Great Nieces and Nephews; and many Cousins.

Visitation for Roberto Roman will be held on Thursday, March 26th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Colonial Funeral Home, 270 West Main street Waterbury CT. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 2324 E Main Street Waterbury at 11:00am. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com
