Rodney Anderson

Rodney Anderson, 56, of Hamden, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at his home in Hamden, Connecticut. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on December 3, 1969, to Joeann Braggs and the late Raymond Parker Sr.

Rodney was educated in the New Haven Public School System. He graduated from James Hillhouse High School in 1990.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Parker Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Lovett and Helen Parker; and his maternal grandparents, Joe Prince and Fannie Mae Anderson.

He leaves to cherish and honor his memory his mother, Joeann Braggs, of Hamden, Connecticut; his sister, Ramona Anderson, of Hamden, Connecticut; his brother, Wallace L. Gory Jr., of New Haven, Connecticut; his nephew, Rayquan (Jazmine) Gory, of New Haven, Connecticut; great nephew Rayquan Gory Jr. of New Haven, Connecticut and great niece, Raelyn Gory of New Haven,Connecticut and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Rodney's life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT. Condolences may be expressed at ColonialFunerals.com.
