Ronald Harold Johnson Brown

Harold Johnson aka Ronald Brown was born on February 10, 1952 to the late Maisie Lee and the late Saunders Brown in Marion, SC.  He attended new haven public schools and went on to join the United States Army.  He also worked for the gill Bains Corp for many years and Yale University Dining Hall.

All the grand children called him “pa pa”and will miss him dearly.  the family will miss him at the Bar B Que grill and on our yearly vacations down south which he loved so much.

Ronald leaves to morn his untimely passing his loving wife, Kimberly Richardson Johnson, one son Ronald Mehki Johnson-brown, daughters, Rhonda Brockenberry(New Haven)& Shirley Brewer (New London), and a grandson Kamari Ware.  Special daughters, Lajharra Richardson and Bria Robinson(New Haven)and Marchel and Kim Brockenberry and one special son, Calvin Richardson, all of New Haven.  A Mother in Law, Gloria J. Richardson, a Brother-In Law, Anthony P. Richardson and sister-In–Law Tanya Richardson, special grandchildren, Chywon (CJ) Turner, Zniya Guiont, Tyjuan and Chajuan Bradley.

Ron also leaves behind sisters, Annie Boyd, Lorretta King of New Haven, Julia Gaskin of Michigan, a brother, Daniel Brown (Crystal) of North Carolina.  Special brothers Jaheim Jones, Kenny Jones of New Haven and George

A celebration of  life will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue at 10am. Viewing at Colonial from 9-10am. Interment will be held at the State Veteran Cemetery in Middletown. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
