Sandra Belinda Richardson affectionately known as Linda or “Mama” peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, February 2nd, with her loving family by her side.
She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories, 5 sons, David and Reginald (Tomi) Richardson of New Haven, Jovon Williams, Sr., Of Meriden, Taiwan (Melissa) Richardson of Hamden and Xzavier (Johnna) Richardson of East Haven. 3 sisters Victoria (Lonnie) Adams, Trina Shealy and Lena (Clarence) Cummings, 6 brothers, Daryl Shealy, Edward Shealy and Andre Rogers all of New Haven, CT, Robert (Melissa) Strickland of West Haven, Arthur (Kim) Shealy and Leonard Nixon Sr., of North Carolina and her Sister-in-law Robin Shealy. She also leaves her 4 Granddaughters Falon, Donaja, Mariyah and Kalana Richardson, and a grandson Jovon Wiliams Jr., her Goddaughter Brittney Murray, her sister-cousin Sonja Johnson-Byers and a host of special sons, daughters, and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, David, daughter Kimberly Lynn Richardson, and brother Lonnie Shealy. She touched many lives, was loved and will be missed by everyone including her bodyguard and beloved great-grand pup Chase.
A Celebration of Sandra’s Life will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard Street, New Haven at 11am. Viewing in Church from 10am-11am. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com
