Sarah E. Claybourne

Sarah E. Claybourne, age 93, of New Haven, died on Wednesday Dec. 13, 2017. She was born on Dec. 22, 1923, in New Jersey to the late Margaret Hubbard and Jean DiPasalegne. The wife of the late Clarence Claybourne. Sarah is survived by one daughter, Debra Claybourne of West Haven, a sister Sondra Hilton of New Haven, and a special beloved grand niece Twinajha Perry. She will be dearly missed by a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by two sisters Marjorie Higgs, Theresa Thompson, and one brother Jean DiPasalegne. Sarah retired from YNHH after many years of service.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 18, 2017 in Colonial, 86 Circular Ave Hamden at 11 O’clock. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11am. Interment will be in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com.
