Sharon Dudley

Sharon Dudley passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on July 9 ^th , 2024. She was born to the late Leola Dudley and Quincy Williams in Sandersville Georgia on January 6 ^th , 1960. She graduated from James Hill House High School in 1979. During her lifetime she worked for twenty years at Atrium Plaza as a Housekeeper. She also worked for adults with special needs at Sarah, Inc for many years as well. Sharon enjoyed shopping during her free time.

Sharon is predeceased by her sister’s Betty Wimbley, Patricia Simpson, Sarah Swint, Annie Dudley, brother Walter Dudley Jr, and nephew Corey Brown. Sharon is survived by her sisters, Brenda Tarver, Angie Dudley, Dorthy Pettis, Suzie Jergan, Alberta Bacon, and two brothers, Danny Cooper, and Tommy Lee William. She also leaves to mourn nieces and nephews including Jakina Dudley, Raquilla Thompson, Freddy Whitfield Jr., Towanda Brown, Deborah Dudley, Sharon Hayden, Willie Dudley, Walter Asbury, Nicole Swint, Anthony Swint, Sheila Henderson, Corie Betha, Adrienne Simpson, and Andrew Simpson and Deborah Wimbley. Sharon left a lot of great nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by all.

A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Viewing in Colonial from 10am-11am. Burial will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com
