Shateac “Shy” Knight

Shateac knight 27 made his arrival into this world on November 29, 1995. Born to his parents Dwayne and Cora Greenlee Knight in New Haven, CT. Shateac was employed at long Horn Restaurant and enjoyed being a cook. Shy also enjoyed dancing, drawing, shopping but most of all being with his brothers and bothering his sisters. Shy was loved by so many, his smile lit up the room. He also had no filter and loved to sleep. Shy gave his life to God right in this church on July 28, 2022 in front of many. We knew he loved the lord. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Dawaye Kight and Cora Greenlee knight, Brothers Kasheem, Dawayne Jr, Justice, Dwayne Knight, Branden Greenlee, Jerod Wilson, Abraham Stoner, Marcus Whitle Vante Riddick, Sisters Canetta Greenlee, Joyana Kinght, ShaKeena Riddick Girlfriend Yodalis Santos. Grandmother Joanne Wesley and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family. Predeceased by grandparents Billy Knight, James (Annette) Greenlee.

A celebration of Shateac’s life will be held on Thursday September 21, 2023 at Christ New Testament Church 3680 Whitney Avenue Hamden CT 06518 at 11am. Viewing in Church from 9am-11am. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
