Shelby was preceded in death by his mother Thelma H a n n a n s. Loved ones left cherishing Shelby memories are Tony Demingo (fat h e r ), Lonna Moore (significant other). Shelby adored and bragged about his children Nigel Moore, D’Shellis Leak-Moore, Shelby Leak-Moore (sons), Anja Brown (daughter). He also leaves behind Carletha Hannans, Sharlanda Demingo, Tiffiani Beavers (sisters), Steve Gibson, Terrance Demingo, Tony Demingo Jr. (brothers), and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Shelby was funny, outgoing, and vivacious, but he was also introverted and introspective. Appropriately self-nicknamed “Diamond” meaning invicible and brilliant, he was fiercely loyal to his friends and family. We will always remember his infectious smile, his laugh, and caring personality. His presence in our lives will be sorely missed. When you think of Shelby, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest and he wouldn’t want anything less.

A celebration of Shelby’s life will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11am. Viewing in Colonial from 10am-11am. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
