Shirlie Hocking-Mcgillis

Shirlie Arlene Hocking-McGillis, age 68, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on April 19, 2017 at YNHH. Born on December 16, 1948 in New Haven, the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy Hocking. Cherished mother of Lori (Mickey) Ortiz, Linda (Mike Olivo) O’Neil both of East Haven, and Kim (Joseph) Hoffman of New Haven. Survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. She was predeceased by her beloved dog Gizmo, and she left behind her dog Daisy.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017 at Colonial, 86 Circular Ave Hamden from 4-6pm. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com.
