Sirvon Timothy Strickland

Sirvon Timothy Strickland, age 31, of New Haven, tragically entered into eternal life on Tuesday October 9, 2018. Born on March 22, 1987, in New Haven, son of Patricia (Taylor) Handy of New Haven and Robert Strickland Sr. of West Haven. Cherished father of Brianna and Aliyah Stevens both of Derby, and Sinya Strickland of West Haven. Beloved brother Daevon and Kewon Strickland both of New Haven, Robert Strickland-Glenn of New Haven, Robert Jr. and Ryan Strickland both of Hamden, and Kyle Strickland of CA, Chana and Timothy Witherspoon both of Hamden. Also survived by stepmother Melissa Santamauro of West Haven, Stepfather Courtland Handy Jr. of West Haven, grandmother, great grandmother, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, step brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Sirvon’s life will be held on Thursday October 18, 2018 at New Flame Restoration Church, 1375 State Street New Haven at 11am. Viewing in Church from 10-11am. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
