Tasha Teresa Massey, a native of New Haven, Connecticut, was born on June 17, 1979, to Joyce Allen and Michael Blackman. She is survived by her parents and siblings: Michael ( Kenia) Massey, Quenette (Donovan) Johnson, Lashanan Massey, Kuninsha Massey, Quatura (Kenneth) Ogueri, and Tyrone( Shavonna) Massey, as well as 19 nieces and nephews. Tasha was a compassionate caregiver who enriched the lives of many as a Health Aide caretaker for the elderly and disabled. A woman of God, she was blessed with many talents, including singing, playing the guitar and piano, cooking, baking, and hairstyling. Her profound knowledge of Bible scriptures was a source of inspiration and guidance to those around her. Tasha’s legacy is defined by her love and character, and she will be remembered for the joy she brought to others. Until we meet again, let us honor her memory with Our Father’s prayer.
A Celebration of Tasha’s Life will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 in Holy Ghost Deliverance #2, 15 Mead Street, New Haven, Connecticut at 11am. Viewing in Church from 10am-11am. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences May be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
