Terrance Lamount Williams entered into internal rest on July 19, 2022 at the age of 41. Born at Yale New Haven Hospital on February 9,1981 to the parents of Cathy (James III) Benjamin and Frank (Claire N.) Jackson. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James & Wilhelmena Williams, paternal grandparents Frank & Carrie B. Jackson and James & Mae Benjamin and aunts Constance Williams and Francene Jackson; uncles George Johnson, Freddie Battle and Kevin Jackson.
Terrance was an electrician and he loved music, science, basketball, comedy and people. Just wanting to put a smile on everyone’s faces. Terrance attended Wilbur Cross High School and Job Corps where he earned his electrician skills.
Terrance was a loving father to Taniya of Brooklyn, New York and son Mason of New Haven CT. He also leaves to mourn and cherish his memories four sisters Kristin C. Williams and Brittney Benjamin (Hamden, CT), Francene Jackson (New Haven, CT) and Aaliyah Wooten (Washington DC) and four brothers Dean L. Williams (Jasmine) and James R. Benjamin VI (Hamden CT), Troy M. Little and Andre Wooten (New Haven CT), nieces Mya Adams, Anajah Williams, Kamai Napoleon and Zora Lathrop; nephews Lamar Williams, Malachi Williams, Troyveon Allen, Tramell Murry and Ahmad Lathrop, with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Terrance’s life will be held at Greater Glory Ministries (266 Morse Street Hamden CT) on Wednesday July 27, 2022 with a viewing 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Internment following burial at Hamden Plains Cemetery (230 Circular Ave. Hamden CT) with the after pass being held at VFW (403 Morse Street Hamden CT). Terrance was a loving son, brother, uncle and cousin and will truly be missed.
