Thelma Beatrice Connelly

Thelma Beatrice Connelly, age 84, peacefully entered into rest on July 3, 2021. She resided at 73 Huntington Road, New Haven, CT with her daughter Carolyn and Sonnitta for over 13 years.  She was born in Halifax Virginia on April 13, 1937, to the late Garland Rudd and Annie Green Mayo.

She is survived by six siblings Mattie, Julia, Nannie, Hattie, William and Billie. Five children Deborah, Ronald, Thomas, and Carolyn. Twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by siblings John, Mary, Luther, James, Margaret and daughter Diana.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, CT 06514.  Calling hours from 10-11am. Interment is at Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Avenue, New Haven, CT. Condolences may be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
