Thomas Michael George Gillis

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Thomas Michael George Gillis of West Haven CT . On July 10th, at the age of 71 years old Michael took his last breath. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine Lareese Gillis ,step-children: Lamia Yopp, Lequella Heath, Calvin Gibbs Jr and Edward Taylor ,and a host of grandchildren. Thomas is predeceased by his brother Robert Gillis and mother and father Mildred and John Thomas Michael was a member of the United States Air Force enlisting in 1969 Thomas was an avid pool player and enjoyed teaching everyone his pool tricks. He loved the sun and being outdoors grilling, he loved music and all sports especially the Lakers, Yankees and the Giants. Thomas’s service will coordinated by Raymond Cash.

A private service will be held at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue  Hamden Ct 06511 on Tuesday July 19th 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. We thank you for the time you had and memories made. Condolencesmay be expressed at Colonialfunerals.com.
