Thomas Lee Murphy

In loving memory of Thomas Lee Murphy Jr. ("Tommy"), age 68, was born on September 21, 1957,transitioned to eternal peace at home in New Haven, Connecticut. On April 1st 2026 born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the eldest of six children, born to Carrie Davis Murphy and Thomas Lee Murphy Sr. He attended Richard C. Lee High School in New Haven, later working in masonry, as well as World's Gym and Cracker Barrel. An avid reader and a man of faith, he dedicated his life to the Lord. Spreading love and inspiring those around him He leaves an enduring legacy through his children, Shuvon Pervis, Shakira R. Williams, and Thomas L. Williams, 2 grandchildren to treasure his memory Cherish Whitfield and Aaliyah Pervis. his loving siblings Clyde Murphy, Grant Murphy, Kenneth Murphy, Sharon Murphy, and Gail Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Lee Murphy Sr. Carrie Davis Murphy, and his brother Robert Murphy. He also leaves behind A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt, and an uncle and friends who loved him dearly. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
