Thomas O'Neal Sanders

Thomas O’Neal Sanders transitioned to be with the Lord on February 25th, 2024. He was born on October 2nd, 1978 to his parents Juanita Sanders and Thomas Arrington in New Haven, CT.

Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family, attending cookouts, fishing and going bowling just to name a few. He had a compassionate personality seen through his genuine love, and positive spirit. His soul was very nurturing, which allowed others to naturally gravitate towards him. Thomas was simply unapologetic-ally himself.

Thomas was a graduate of Wilbur Cross High School. Prior to his retirement he was employed at the New Haven Register, New Haven Housing Authority, Simpkins, the Quinnipiac Club and Lindleys Food Services.

Thomas is survived by his mother Juanita Sanders (New Haven, CT); Children, Thomas Sanders of Orlando, FL, London Bethea, Tatayanna Sanders and Desiray Sanders all of New Haven, CT;

Siblings, Tira Sanders-Hudson (Paul Hudson), Yvette Sanders, Natomanique Bell, Owen Brown, all of New Haven; Aunt, Mary Donegun; Uncle, Jessie Sanders, both of New Haven; Grandchildren, Tessie Sanders of Orlando, Fl., Christian Borrero of New Haven, CT. Along with a host of many family and friends. Thomas was predeceased by his father Thomas Arrington, Aunts Gloria Sanders and Bertha Collions.

A Celebration of Thomas’ life will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut at 11am. Viewing in Colonial from 10-11am. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
