Thurman Albert Epps

Thurman Albert Epps, 73, born on September 30, 1951, he was the son of the late Bishop Herman Epps and Mother Marie Epps. He was a resident of Hamden, Connecticut. Our beloved brother/Father Thurman Epps passed away on January 4, 2025, due to a brief illness. Our dear Thurman enjoyed watching Football, Basketball (his favorite team was the Los Angeles Lakers) and baseball. He graduated at Wilbur Cross High School in 1969, and he attended Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland where he played Football. He enjoyed eating Chicken and Fruits such as Apples and Bananas those were his favorite. Also, he was known as a Math Wizard, he was able to tell how old the person was in matter of second and to the family “We thought that was amazing.” He is survived by his daughter Tracey Epps, a brother Larry Epps and two sisters Doris Threet-Williams (Willie Williams) and Elizabeth Bromell and host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Mother Marie Epps and Bishop Herman Epps, his sister Shirley Epps, and his brother Robert Crawford.
