Toni Arlene Cooper began life on March 26, 1965. She was the daughter to the Anthony A. Cooper and the late Juanita (Keen) Cooper of New Haven, Connecticut. Toni received her formal education from Richard C. Lee High School. She also attended Gateway Community Culinary of Arts School of New Haven, Connecticut where she enjoyed learning the Arts & Food Service Management.

She had a real passion for her community and gave her full time service as an advocate for Outreach and working with the homeless community.

Cooking was her specialty and spent many hours and volunteer time in the culinary arts. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and playing chess.

Toni was devoted to her family and considered her mom, Juanita as her angel. She was known for her love for her grandchildren and friends. She enjoyed hanging out with her community.

Toni leaves to cherish her memory her sister Loretta Foreman; her siblings Ashley Arrianna Ja’Dora Cooper, Tanisha Nichelle Cooper, Monique Danielle Carr-Cooper, Darien Scott Cooper, Jessie Phillips and Mel Phillips all of New Haven, Connecticut; her sons, Michael Keith Mitchner Cooper and Patrick Cooper and her grandchildren Felicity Cooper, Subree Cooper, Gloria Fitzpatrick, and Darla Flake. She was preceded in death by her mother: Juanita (Keen) Cooper; her sister Loretta Foreman, maternal grandparents Clarence Mosley & Gladys (Keen) Mosley, and paternal parents: Anthony Ashley Cooper Sr., Nellie Ruth (Sutton) Cooper. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
