Trevor Anthony Chin Jr.

Trevor Anthony Chin Jr. of Waterbury, CT was born June 25, 1986 to Sula Marie Williams. Trevor joined the Cummings household where he was loved and nurtured by Sidney and Conneatta Cummings of Hamden, CT.

After high school Trevor attended Porter and Chester Institute and became a certified electrician. He later found interest in landscaping and spent many years managing his small landscaping business. In between he found time to express his creative side; drawing and producing music. He was blessed with many god given skills and talents.

Trevor was humorous, hardworking, helpful and kind. He often put others before himself. Trevor was a proud and devoted father. He loved his daughter ever so dearly. Of all the things he was, he was a father first.

Trevor was predeceased by father Albert Tingle and grandmother, Adassa Campbell. He is survived by daughter Khelanie Chin, parents Sidney and Conneatta Cummings, sisters Adassa, Clarice and Jazmine Cummings. Brothers Sidney Cummings, Jr. and Jason Miller (Tanisha). His fiancée, Ali Rivera, Godmother Darlene Cummings-Waters; grandparents and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, one nephew and an abundance of friends. Trevor will be deeply and wholeheartedly missed.

A celebration of Trevor’s life will be held on Monday April 1, 2019 at First Church of God, 90 Harper Avenue New Haven at 11am. Viewing in Church from 9-11am. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
