Troy Jerome Matthews , Jr ., affectionately known a s “TJ” was born in New Haven, CT on January 31, 1990 to Troy Jerome Matthews , Sr. of New Haven and Hilda Newman (Gary Newman) of North Carolina in addition to his grand-parents William & Darle ne Matthews and late grandparent Coid & Martha Aklin. TJ transitioned from his early home to his heavenly home on Sunday-June 13, 2021. He graduated from Riverside High school and was a dedicated worker . He enjoyed being around his family . H is favorite pastime was music and was always smiling . TJ is survived by his daughter, Forever Dallas Matthews and special friend Jessica Bittle ; a b rother, Travis Tyson and 1 sister Na’Tori Arrington from North Carolina; Godmother, Hope Pue ; 6 aunts, 5 uncles ; favorite uncle, Timothy Matthews ; best friend, Marq ue tta James and a host of nieces & n ephews and friends whom will sorely miss him.
