Tyrece Wilkins

Tyrece Lee Wilkins, 42, departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2023. Tyrece was born on May 14, 1980 to Judy Wilkins and Gregory Gatling, Sr. Tyrece, was born in raise in New Haven, CT. and attended the New Haven Public School System. Tyrece enjoyed life and was a joy to be around. Tyrece loved sports, particularly wrestling, basketball and football. Any one that knew Tyrece, knew that he loved watching wrestling and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Tyrese was a member of the Loyalty is Everything, Dallas Cowboys Club where he served for 3 years as the Sargent of arms. Tyrece loved his family, loved spending time with them and attending family gatherings. He loved to eat especially his mother’s cooking. One thing he enjoyed was a good card game. There was a few that he liked to play and didn’t mind getting a quick game in. Tyrece leaves to cherish his memory, his mother; Judy Wilkins. His father; Gregory Gatling, Sr. Four sisters; Kaprice Wilkins-Perry, Lakeya Wilkins, Shante Benton and Shameka Wilkins. One brother; Gregory Gatling, Jr. Grandmother; Shirley Johnson. One nephew; Karone Wilkins and three nieces; Aisya Perry, Te-leyah Green, and Za-ryah Wilkins. And a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly. Tyrece was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Elijah Thomas Wilkins and Marion Dean Wilkins. One uncle, Thomas “Shay” Wilkins, Jr. Tyrece was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
