Vanessa (Keen) Mosley, 65, of New Haven, CT was born September 10, 1953 to the late Clarence and Glady’s Mosley at Yale New Haven Hospital. She passed away at home on January 8, 2019. Vanessa graduated from Richard C. Lee High School and worked for Rainbow Cleaners in Hamden, CT, she was also married to Wilbur A. Felder for a short period of time. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family members and friends. She loved laughing, joking, and talking about past and the good times she had with her sisters and cousins as a youth with her children and enjoyed helping and keeping her grandchildren.
Vanessa is survived by her oldest sister Maxine Keen of West Haven, daughters Kim Mosley (Lennie) of New Haven, Princess O’Reggio (Taushiem) of Bridgeport and Sons: Alan Felder (evelyn) of New Haven, Tyrone Fernandez of West Haven and Clarence Fernandez of New Haven. Grandchildren Twanna Davis, Topeka King (Jamuel), Leslie Brown, Joshua Felder, Silas Felder, Jaelinn Fernandez, Tyrese Fernandez, Taushiem O’Reggio Jr., Trenton O’Reggio, Trey O’Reggio, and Ky-Mani Fernandez. Great-grandchildren, Tavon Johnson Jr., Nyla Davis and Omari Sharpe and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters, Juanita Cooper and Sylvia Mosley and a grandchild A’mere Fernandez.
A Celebration of Vanessa’s life will be held on Saturday January 19, 2019 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11 O’clock. Visitation in Colonial from 10-11am. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
