Virginia Martinez

Virginia Martinez, age 59, of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at YNHH. She was born in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Santos Garcia of PR., and the late Epifania Morales. Beloved mother of Emily (Luis) Nunez of MA., Geraldo Rivera, Mayra Martinez, Clarissa Martinez, and Stephanie Martinez all of New Haven. Loving grandmother of Lilliana Nunez, Mateo Nunez both of MA., Geraldo Rivera, Geovanni Rivera Jr., and Joel Fernandez all of New Haven. She is also survived by sisters, brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her late husband Jose Luis Martinez of eight years.

Visitation will be held on Sunday December 23, 2018 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue Hamden from 3-6pm. Funeral Services held on Monday at 10am at Colonial. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
