Vonyel Helen Mciver

Vonyel Helen McIver was born March 31, 1981 to Patsy and Neill Spencer McIver of New Haven, Connecticut. She worked as an independent phlebotomist & caregiver for over 10 years. Her passion for animals would have her to rescue and secure funding for their care. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her Sister Latrice and “Ma” (as she affectionately called her mother) tremendously never missing a day without telling them by phone, text, video or in person.

She leaves behind her mother Patsy McIver and sister Latrice McIver. She was predeceased by her father Neil McIver, grandparents John and Lucener Howard and Helen McBride. Vonyel also leaves a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Vonyel’s life will be held on Thursday July 1, 2021 at Colonial, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, at 11am. Viewing in Colonial from 10am-11am. Condolences may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com.
