Walter E Moye Sr.

Walter E. Moye, Sr. age 90, of New Haven, Ct passed away on February 28, 2025. He was born September 5, 1934 to the late Hurlies Moye, Sr. and Arlena Banks. In celebrating the life of Walter E. Moye, Sr, a man whose impact touched the hearts of so many. It is through the recollections of those cherished moments and the legacy he leaves behind that pay tribute to his enduring spirit. He was a hard working family man who always put his family first. His family was his pride and joy, he had a very special relationship with his grandson Tyrelle. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lillie Mae Barber Moye, sons Gregory Lewis and Walter Moye, Jr. (PeeDee) both of New Haven, grandchildren Tyrelle Moye, John Turner, Jr. and Anthony Moye of New Haven, Anthony Lamping, Jr. of Texas, two great-grand daughters Aviana Turner and Neili Turner both of New Haven. Sister Agathe Bush of New Haven. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Katrina Moye Lamping and three brothers and three sisters. In celebrating the life of Walter whose love for family will never be forgotten. So as we reflect we are inspired to carry forward his values.
