William Evers

Hamden – William Evers Sr. went home to be with the Lord on August 5.2025. He was 95 years old, born on March 13, 1930.

He had many talents, he built his own home in Hamden. He taught himself guitar and played with a wonderful group of musicians when he spent time in North Carolina. Before his illness he did square and round dancing for over 30 years. He could fix anything and was fun to be with.

Bill leaves his wife of 72 years, Catherine; and a son William Evers of Hamden; a daughter Patricia of Alaska; and his grandson William IV and his wife Areli of East Haven. He had his own building and remodeling business, “WJE Remodeling” with his son William.

Services will be private.
