William Francis Lempeck

William Francis Lempeck aka “Bill the Bush Man”, age 76, of Hamden formally of New Haven, entered into eternal life on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at YNHH. Born on December 31, 1940, in New Haven, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Butkus) Lempeck. Ex-husband of Carolann (Caporossi) Lempeck of West Haven. Cherished father of Christine Lempeck, Stephanie Lempeck, and William Lempeck all of West Haven. Predeceased by one sister Louise Lempeck. After graduating high school Bill joined the Marines and was a Lance Corporal in the Vietnam Era. Then worked for the Parks Department in New Haven for 13 years, and was the grounds man and the caretaker at Edgerton Park in New Haven. Then he left there to work full time at his business Bill the Bush Man Landscaping service for over 50 years. Bill loved horticulture, trees, and really loved being a Marine.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Colonial, 86 Circular Ave. at 11 O’clock. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery with Military Honors. Family and friends may call at Colonial on Tuesday from 4-7pm. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com
