William Darnell Riddick

WATERBURY – Mr. William Darnell “WD” Riddick, 62, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 19, 2021.

William was born in Gates, N.C., on Sept. 27, 1958, to Mrs. Barbara Riddick and the late William Earl Riddick.

He was educated in Gates, North Carolina.

He was employed by the Smithfield Packing Company in Virginia. He relocated to Waterbury, Connecticut,

where he became employed at the American Rubber Stamp Company Waterbury, Connecticut,

and then Southbury Training School Located in Southbury, Connecticut.

William loved to watch old Westerns and loved to be around his friends and family.

He enjoyed life to the fullness.

William is survived by his mother Barbara Riddick of Waterbury, Connecticut.

Two sons, Corey Smith of Murfreesboro, North Carolina and Montrayle Riddick of

Charlotte, North Carolina. Two daughter Ebony (Kenneth) King of Greensville, North Carolina and Brittany Hunter of Waterbury, Connecticut.

William leaves to cherish his  memory his six Grandchildren. And his longtime companion Karen Walton.

One brother Walter Ervin (Tonya Lisa) Riddick of Waterbury, Connecticut.

One Niece and one Nephew (Niece In-Law) and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

William was predeceased by his father William Earl Riddick.
