Yadira Padilla Stevenson

Yadira Padilla Stevenson was born July 11, 1976 to Ms. Zoraida Acevedo-Figueroa and Mr. Angel Fidel-Padilla in Puerto Rico. Yadira was a loving person who loved her family and friends. She was a free spirit who enjoyed making others laugh with her witty sense of humor. Yadira Padilla Stevenson’s humorous personality, selfless ways and giving heart will forever be felt by the many lives she has touched during her 46 years here on earth.

She leaves behind Her Daughters, Dr. Shelby Frances Brewer, Ms. Breanna Iveon Stevenson, Ms. Genesis Faith Stevenson; Her Son, Mr. Lebron Jimmy Stevenson; Her Mother, Ms. Zoraida Acevedo- Figueroa; Her Father, Mr. Angel Fidel- Padilla; Her Grand-Son, Mr. Eden MacKay; Her Sister, Nydia Padilla-Figueroa; Her Brother, Joshian (Shatoya) Colon; Her Step-Sister, Ms. Damarie Vazquez; Her Nieces, Brooklynn Jones, Journey Colon; Her Nephews, Joshian Padilla, Justice Colon, Jayce Tyler Washington; Her Mother in Love, Lady S. Frances Brewer; and a Host of Family and Friends.

A Celebration of Yadira’s life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ, 285 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven at 12pm (noon). Visitation from 11am-12pm. She will be entombed at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolence may be expressed at www.colonialfunerals.com
