Yolanda R. Clark, age 56, formerly of New Haven, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 2, 2026.Born on December 2, 1969, in Manhattan, New York, Yolanda was the beloved daughter of the late Jacqueline McCoy and the late James Clark. She was raised in New Haven, where she attended New Haven Public Schools and formed lifelong friendships. In 2002, she made Waterbury her home, where she continued to build a life filled with love and connection.Yolanda was a devoted partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She shared a deep and enduring bond with her lifelong partner, Allison Greene of Waterbury, who stood by her side with unwavering love and care. Yolanda was the proud and loving mother of one son, Angus Phlemetta-Clark of New Haven, and three daughters, Rashanda Phlemetta-Clark and Shalonda Phlemetta, both of New Haven, and Moeasha Phlemetta-Clark of Waterbury along with four grandsons and four granddaughters. She is also survived by her brothers, Johnny Clark of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Howie Clark of New York, Sisters, Jackie Clark and Loraine Clark of New Haven, along with many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will miss her deeply.In addition to her parents, Yolanda was predeceased by her brothers, Jerome Clark and Wayne Clark of New Haven.The family extends special thanks to the compassionate nurses of Family Care for the kindness, dedication, and weekly care they provided to Yolanda.Yolanda's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A private memorial service will be held at later date.
